What is the expected cutoff marks of SSC DEO exam, 2010
manjeet kumar ji i am also waiting for comments on ldc deo cutoff marks. I do not know about cutoff marks because it is first time when ssc is going to start negative marking....
@SANDEEP MALIK:
For UR candidates cut off for skill test will be around 135 to 140. But for final selection for this category it will definitely cross the marks of 150. I have gone through the entire papers of Dt: 28/11/2010. This time GK paper, so far I feel a little bit harder for an undergraduate level exam of SSC. So I reduce 5 marks in cut off.
Get a formula on negative marking.
Suppose my scoring is say 140 out of 200 after deducting negative marks for wrong scoring. In this situation I also obviously, leave some questions unattended due to fear of negative marking. Then what would have been my score if at all there hasn't been any negative marking i.e 0.25. The simple formula is 140+(200-140)/4 = My scoring. And here it will be 140+15=155. This will help you to compare the cut off marks with previous exams of SSC when there was no negative marking i.e 2009. 2008 etc.
