Common Screening Test (CST) to be held on 12-09-2010 (Sunday) at Delhi


The Commission has decided to hold a common screening test for shortlisting the candidates for various post categories of selection posts on 12th September 2010 at Delhi of two hours duration from 10:00AM to 12Noon. The Post Categories, Advertisement No. and Name of the Post included in the Test are given in the list below:-

All candidates who applied for above post/posts and prima-facie eligible would be called for the Common Screening Test. However, Candidates should ensure that they possess essential qualifications, age limit and other eligibility criterion for the post /posts applied for as per the notice before appearing in the Common Screening Test to avoid rejection at any stage of selection process, otherwise, they would be appearing in the test at their own risk.



The candidates, who applied for more than one post from the list mentioned above, would be issued only one admission certificate with details of all post categories (from above list) applied for by them in the admission certificate and they would be considered for shortlisting for all the post categories mentioned therein. In case there are any missing post categories from above list in the admission certificate, they should immediately intimate to Regional Director (NR), Room No 505, 5th Floor, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block 12, CGO Complex Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504 through Speed Post regarding the missing post categories they applied for with documentary proof (photocopy of application for the missing post category). They would superscribe their Roll No and Common Screening Test on the top of the envelope. Any correspondence in this regard will not be entertained after 21-09-2010.





The test would be of two hours (2 hrs.) duration of an objective type question paper (200 marks) containing the following:-

There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The test will have no weightage in the selection process and will be used only for shortlisting the candidates for interviews or Skill test (Data Entry Speed Test) followed by interview for the post/posts (from above list) applied for.



Admission certificate shall be dispatched to the candidates by 16th August 2010 and candidates may download duplicate admission certificate by clicking here from 18th August, 2010 onwards.



They may also collect duplicate admission certificate from 06-09-2010 to 11-09-2010 (up to 5:00PM) themselves at Information & Facilitation Centre Ground floor, Staff Selection Commission, Block-12, CGO complex, Near Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504
